The DECT module can be used for interactive group tours and teleconferences with up to 1,028 participants in CD-quality sound with a range of up to 300 meters. The supraGuide DIVA is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to take their guided tours a step further and create interactive or immersive exhibition experiences.

The large touch-screen is also ideal for displaying floor plans. It goes without saying that this model also has automatic activation, excellent sound quality, an integrated tourguide function and is connected to the digital media control. But thanks to high-performance Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, the supraGuide TOUCH4 additionally supports the integration of third-party applications.

supraCMS – next level
in museum content management
advanced CMS and media database ∙ create your visitor tour on browser ∙ app creator ∙ for tonwelt devices and BYOD
The discussion about which technology should be used to guide visitors to museums, sights and tourist attractions is being conducted with great passion. Audio guides have an unrivalled uptake rate and convey content reliably and accurately. BYOD are the supposedly cheaper and more flexible solution. tonwelt has decided to end this discussion for its clients, because what counts is the interpretation, not the technology.
With supraCMS we offer a future-oriented content management system that is simultaneously database, media storage and tour creator. Use extensive functions and predefined use cases to plan your tours effectively and create them with new tools like the scene editor for exciting quizzes and timed multimedia visitor experiences. Use the preview options for your devices and deploy your visitor tours to all your devices at a simple click: whether it’s a tonwelt audio guide or multimedia guide, or for downloading from the AppStore or Google PlayStore.
triggerPoint2: flexible and versatile triggering solution
tonwelt’s triggerPoints have always been a stable and reliable solution. However, the new generation triggerPoint2 provides additional features offering a range of new options to enhance the visitor experience.
What has been changed? The triggerPoint2 offers IR signal reception in addition to transmission, opening up a second, bidirectional line of interaction with the visitor. Moreover, it has built-in wireless and wired network interfaces. This does not only allow changing all the settings remotely but also allows linking of user interaction data into IT backends.

Multi content audio sync solution for touch tables
TouchTables have become very popular over the past few years. They look appealing and interacting with them is fun. There is, however, a problem: So far, there was no solution to dynamically link multi-language-audio to the content that is currently being played back – especially not if there are different audio/video playbacks ongoing in parallel at the same table.
tonwelt’s triggerPoint2 and supraHub products solve this. Up to four visitors can watch different videos at the same time, with each visitor receiving the audio in the language set in the Multimedia Guide. This obviously also works for audio content playback. No more need to wait for wired headphones, no hygienic issues, no language selection required.
Auto sync of visitor guide language and interactive kiosk or touch table
Typically, interactive kiosks show their content in the language that was chosen by the last visitor or in a standard language. They rarely interact anyhow with the multimedia guides of the exhibition. Manually changing language settings any media stations repeatedly is annoying and compromising the visitor experience. Whether in museums, tourist areas or sightseeing, visitors want to receive information in their own language.
The new tonwelt solution offers an integrated approach, linking the multimedia guides and the kiosks bidirectionally. When a visitor approaches the kiosk, it will detect the current language setting of the visitor’s device and instantly switch any text on the screen to that language. In case there is video content played back, it will be played back on the multimedia guide in that language. If other visitors join in during playback, they can also pick up the sync signal and the audio playback will start in their chosen languages in parallel.
Dynamic Re-Configuration of Content Playback
Given the ability of network configuration, the triggerPoint2 is very handy when it comes to changes in the exhibition. And there are some sophisticated scenarios. Imagine all the triggerPoints in your exhibition automatically switch to different station IDs at a given time; e.g. 30 minutes before your opening hours end. In that case, the multimedia guides could be starting shorter versions of your audio tracks and no visitor will note that change.
The triggerPoint2 features a colored LED ring which can also be used in different ways; e.g. indicating children content, certain topics or the highlights of your tour and it can send a visual feedback that the interaction was noted.
User interactions can be instantly processed by the back ends because the triggerPoint2 is able to translate the received device ID and language setting into a UDP network message. This opens the way to a variety of future use cases, such as points collection, votings or live statistics data evaluation of your exhibition etc.
